On Saturday 8th November 2014 PPP was involved with collecting for the RBL Poppy appeal in East Yorkshire. With the assistance of Dorothy a local Lady and veteran Woman’s Land Army girl from World War two, a rain soaked Driffield were treated to the sights of PPP in the accurate depiction of the Army Cycle Corps of 1914.
Hopefully in this the centenary year of the outbreak of the Great War, PPP has promoted awareness and helped the Royal British Legion to reach their target of raising 40 million pounds.
