Parsons Period Presentations are pleased to offer tailor made one day workshops for Key stages 2,3 and 4. The workshops currently on offer are both World War One and Two. They both offer unique presentations which will be tailored to fit around the client’s school day, in addition to these PPP provide object handling boxes. The Object handling boxes are transported to the school and handed over to the teachers on the day of the booking. Pupils are then invited to examine the objects whilst completing the pre-set worksheets, these worksheets are included in the pack which is handed over to the teacher, also in this pack are the answers to the questions. The days activities include the following, based on rotating through various “stations” :
Character station. These will be delivered, ideally in a hall or large classroom. Object Handling boxes stations. These are utilised under the supervision of a teacher and are taken to a form room or other classroom. Work sheet and answer pack for use with the object handling boxes. Parsons Period Presentations will provide copies of these on the day of the booking.

The workshop day will run as follows:
An initial communal brief to all students with explanation of how the day will run including health and safety guide lines.
The classes/groups will then break off to their various areas in the school (class rooms or form rooms).
The groups/classes will then rotate between each station throughout the school day, in conjunction with the School timetable.
All pupils will return to the main hall for a final quiz, the winning group/class will receive a prize.
